Directions to
Land Grant
From the north:
Take
I-95 south to I-40. Take I-40 east towards Wilmington. At I-140, head
south towards the Brunswick beaches. Follow the signs to stay on US
17. Continue south and refer to the 'From US 17' section below.
From the south:
Take
I-95 north to US 76 at Florence. Take US 76 east to US 501 at Marion
SC. Take US 501 south to SC 22 (Conway Bypass). Head east on
SC 22 to
SC 31 (Carolina Bays Parkway). Head north on SC 31, the road will end at SC 9. Take SC 9 to SC 90 to US 17. Head north
on US 17 and refer to the 'From US 17' section below.
From the west:
From Raleigh:
Take I-40 East towards Wilmington. At I-140, head south towards the
Brunswick beaches. Follow the signs to stay on U.S. 17. Continue south
and refer to the 'From US 17' section below.
From Charlotte:
Take US 74 to Whiteville, exit on right to US 701. Turn right. Take US 701 to NC 130,
turn left. NC 130 to NC 905 (turn right at a gas station). NC 905 to NC 904,
turn left when they part. NC 904 will cross US 17 (at a traffic light). Continue on NC 904 and refer to the
'From US 17' section below.
If traveling through South Carolina:
Take I-20 to Florence. At Florence, continue east on US 76 to US 501 at
Marion SC. Take US 501 south to SC 22
(Conway Bypass). Head east on SC 22 to SC 31 (Carolina Bays Parkway).
Head east on SC 22 to SC 31 (Carolina Bays Parkway). Head north on SC
31, the road will end at SC 9. Take SC 9 to SC 90 to US 17. Head north
on US 17 and refer to the
'From US 17' section below.
From US 17:
Take
US 17 to NC 904 east towards Sunset Beach. Continue until you reach the
junction with Business NC 179 (at a stop light intersection with
Walgreens and CVS). Take a right. Continue on Business 179 until you
see the Intracoastal waterway. The ramp to the bridge will be on the
right. Take the bridge to the island. At the stop sign take a left onto
Main Street. Continue until you pass 8th Street. Land Grant will be on
the right at 804 E Main
Street.
